Last weekend, I was having dinner with my friends at Newton food center. My friends were Muslim so we had out meal in the Muslim section of the food court. One couple bought BBQ pork and brought it to the Muslim section to have his meal.

My friends was obviously upset that the non-halal food was brought and consume at the designated Muslim section of the hawker center. We decided to move away from the area as my friends was starting to feel unhappy.
We should always respect each other’s religion and beliefs to have racial harmony in Singapore. Please be considerate!
