An 82-year-old man has died after sustaining serious injuries from a road accident at Bukit Batok.

The incident happened on 11 Nov 2020 along Bukit Batok West Avenue 4. The elderly was knocked down by a car while he was crossing the road. It is believed that the elderly crossed the road without noticing the oncoming vehicle.
It was reported that the man was spotted lying motionless on the ground after being hit with blood bleeding from his mouth. Several passersby came to aid the man after the accident.
The police were alerted and the 66-year-old driver was arrested for careless driving. Sadly, the elderly did not survive and was pronounced dead later in the hospital.
