26 Y.O WOMAN ARRESTED FOR LOANSHARK HARASSMENT ACTIVITIES

A 26-Year-old woman was arrested for her suspected involvement in a series of loanshark harassment activities.

The police were alerted on 09 Nov 2020 to two cases of loanshark harassment that happened along Tampines Street 82 and 91 respectively. It was reported that the door of two residential units was sprayed with yellow paint and debtor note was left behind.

After investigations, the police managed to establish the woman’s identity and arrested her on the same day. During her arrest, the police also seized a can of spray and marker which was used to conduct the activities.

The woman was charged in court on the 11 Nov 2020. if convicted she will face a jail term up to 5 years, fine up to $50,000.
