A 22-year-old man was charged in court with harassment after he was found guilty of stealing bra and panties from a female colleague while in the office. It was reported that after stealing the bra and panties, the man brought them home to sniff on it.
He was caught stealing twice
The first incident happened on 26 Feb 2020, the man took the victim’s bra and panties that were left unattended on her working desk. Noticing that her underwear was missing, the victim texted in their office group chat to ask about her belonging.
At that time, the man replied to the victim claiming that he had never touched her belonging. It was only when the victim threatens to report the case then the man steps forward and admitted his wrongdoing.
He then met the victim at the office lift lobby to return her bra and panties. He also gifted her a perfume while begging her for forgiveness.
7 months later
The man was caught stealing the woman’s used bra and panties once more. To prevent being caught, the man actually prepared another set of underwear to be placed in the victim’s bag.
However, the victim noticed the colour differences and confronted the man. He admitted to his action and the police were alerted. The police conducted a raid at the man’s place and found several items that belong to the victim in his possession.
The case has been adjourned to 17 Dec 2020.
