According to the police media release, 4 men were arrested for their suspected involvement in an armed robbery. It was reported that the armed robbery occurred at Credit OT Pte Ltd located at Jurong Gateway Road.
It was revealed that 3 out of the 4 men were involved in the robbery whereas the fourth men assisted in the disposal of the knives after the robbery. At the time of the robbery, only 1 female staff member was at the shop. The robbers then pointed their knives at her while demanding her to hand over the cash in the shop.
The robbers then fleet the scene with a total of $48,000.
After investigations, the robbers were arrested within 12 hours after the case was reported. It was reported that $30,000 has been recovered. The police are trying their best to recover the remaining $18,000.
All 4 suspects are expected to be charged in court tomorrow (21 Nov), with armed robbery with hurt.
