
A former NSF policeman was accused to have insulted the modesty of his female colleague. It was reported he allegedly filmed his female colleague while she was in the shower.
The man has claimed trial after hearing his charges.
According to the court documents, the incident happened on 12 Mar 2019, the was reported that the man allegedly entered the female toilet while the alleged victim was showering. He then placed his mobile phone on top of the cubicle door that the alleged victim was in.
While showering, the alleged victim spotted the mobile phone and shouted. The alleged victim reported the incident to her superior and a locked-down was ordered. Based on the description provided they managed to narrow down their investigations on 13 individuals. However, after inspecting the phones of the individuals no evidence was found that the 13 individuals had entered the toilet.
A police report was lodged by the alleged victim on the same day.
According to the law, anyone found guilty of insulting a woman’s modesty could be jailed for up to a year and fined.
