A man has shared his story about his relationship that turned sour after his girlfriend asked him about his past.
According to him, his girlfriend asked about his past romance and sexual life. He then shared the normal stuff with her before telling her that he used to visit prostitutes when he was single.
After learning about him visiting prostitutes, his girlfriend wanted a break from their relationship.
The man felt betrayed as his girlfriend has promised him that she wouldn’t mind no matter what happened.
In his post:
“Recently my GF asked about my romantic and sexual past assuring me that “no matter what I won’t judge and I still love you”.
Apart from ex gfs and the normal stuff, when I mentioned that I frequented brothels whenever I was single, it was like something flipped in her head.
Her understanding look was gone and she stayed silent. When I asked if it bothered her she said no, but a few days later she asked for a couple of weeks break to think over the relationship.
I get there might be a stigma around that stuff in SG, but I can’t help feel betrayed a bit as I wait for the break to be over and hear what she has to say. I never went when I was attached; I always was clean on my STD tests; when in relationships I never forced or coerced my partners into sex.
In meeting my needs I always made sure that I went about it as legally and morally sound as I could. It feels like shit to have her say she wouldn’t judge but go through this now.
