A 20-year-old man was sentenced to three months of jail after he was found guilty of attempting to molest a 21-year-old woman.
The incident happened earlier this year (14 Aug 2020), the man was smoking under a HDB block when he came across the victim. The victim was on her way home at that time. Being attracted to the woman’s beauty, the man decided to stalk the woman.
Knowing that the woman had to go past a multi-storey car park, the man decided to prey on her at the carpark. He then went past the victim and hide in the carpark preparing to ambush the woman.
As the woman was approaching, the man took off his shirt and used it to cover the woman’s mouth to prevent her from screaming. However, his plan has failed and the woman had put up a struggle.
The man then flees the scene immediately.
