According to a media release, an 18-year-old teenager has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexually penetrating a minor under the age of 14.
It was reported that the first victim was 12 or 13 years old and the second victim was 11 years old at the time of his offence.
According to the court documents, the teenager met both victims on Instagram in 2017 and 2018.
First Victim
The teenager befriended with the victim on Instagram in 2017 and they have been going out with each other even when they are not in a relationship.
During one of the meetup, the teenager brought the victim to someone else’s flat. It was then the teenager asked the victim if she could perform a s*x act on him. The teenager was rejected but the teenager climbed on top of her and penetrated her.
Second Victim
Similarly, the teenager met the victim on Instagram in 2018, they met up at a block located at Circuit Road.
The teenager then brought the victim to a vacant unit where he asked her if she could perform a S*x act on him and she agreed. However, the police were alerted after the young girl mother found out about the incident.
The Teenager is currently out on bail for $5,000 and he will be returning to court for sentencing on 18 Jan 2021.
