
According to a police media release, 2 men aged 39 and 51 years old were arrested for their suspected involvement in unlawful remote gambling activities.

The two men were arrested in anti-remote gambling operation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) between 15 – 16 Dec 2020. It is believed that the two men have acted as a master agent and agent for unlawful remote gambling activities.
In the process, a total of $296,000 were seized. Police investigations are ongoing.
According to the law, anyone convicted of assisting or running unlawful remote gambling activities could be jailed up to 5 years and fined up to $500,000.
