According to a media release, a 20-year-old drug offender repeatedly stabbed a 29-year-old causing multiple injuries to his organs including to areas near his heart, liver, colon, stomach and small intestine. A total of 9 stab wounds was inflicted on the victim.
Doctors who treated the 29-year-old victim said that the victim will face a life long of potential complications after the attack.
20-year-old Indra Hafiq Azman will be facing informative training, counselling and foot drills as part of his punishment.
The prosecutor for the case reported that on 20 August 2020, Indra just completed his urine test at Tanglin Police DHQ at approximately 8.45 PM and boarded bus number 166, the victim also boarded the same bus later on.
The 29-year-old Filipino victim was attracted by Indra’s look and type a text message on his phone offering a sexual act, he then showed the message on his phone to Indra.
When the bus arrived at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1, Indra alighted from the bus and the victim followed him. Moments later Indra started to attack the victim till he was on the ground, he later picked up a sharp object nearby and used it to stab the victim.
