According to a media release, a resident of Block 9 Jalan Kukoh has been reportedly hanging pork meat and organs along the common corridor. It was said that the family first started hanging pork meat along the corridor on 05 Jan 2021 until the staff from the town council came knocking on their door.
It was reported that a complaint was lodged against the family by their neighbours with a video submitted to the town council. The family are reportedly new immigrants from China. The family had made their own meat after not being able to find them in any of the local Supermarket.
The family then said that they didn’t know that they are not allowed to hang meat products outside of their residences at the common corridor. The meat products have been since removed after the complaint was lodged.
