A post was recently posted by user Mirielle Innam on Facebook page Complaint Singapore after her child was allegedly abused by her child’s preschool. She even stated on how she went to seek help from her MP but claimed that nobody assisted her on the issue.

Our 16 month old daughter was abused by the 2 educarers in PCF infant care Sparkletots on 8 October 2020. We are writing in to share our experience and to raise awareness to the public on how PCF and ECDA had handled and treated us. We are not speaking baselessly, in fact we will include all the emails and communications we had with the respective parties.
PCF Sparkletots and ECDA went all silent on our child’s abuse case for over 2 months and we had to email them multiple times on the progress of the case. In fact, this has been raised up to their CEO and board of directors. We have tried all avenues such as PCF HQ, ECDA and our MP in Sembawang GRC to seek help on our child’s abuse case in a civil manner, but no one was willing to come forward to assist us.
Hence, we have decided to speak up and seek justice for our daughter. Initially we thought of filling for a lawsuit, we have met up with multiple lawyers and their fees are beyond our affordability. After much consideration, we feel going public is the right option for us.
If you think child abuse does not happen in SG childcare, Think again. Our main intention is to prevent such abusive behavior from happening again to any infant, children and families. If this can happen to us, it can happen to any parents in Singapore. We hope our case can aid parents in the future, if you are caught in a similar situation as us, you will know exactly what to do.
Our case is still ongoing, as this incident is 3 months long, we be referencing our journey in 3 parts for easier references. We as parents got nothing to hide, we are going to be honest and transparent. Our child can’t speak nor defend herself, we as parents will do the right thing for her.
