A Republic Polytechnic student was charged in court with voyeurism after he was caught for filming other woman using the toilet.

It was reported that the incident happened on 11 Jan 2021 around 11.40 am and it took place inside a toilet at Jurong West Community Building. The student is still studying in Republic Polytechnic.
He has been remanded in IMH since 14 Jan 2021 and is currently undergoing psychiatric observation.
The case has been adjourned to 28 Jan 2021. If convicted, the student could be jailed for up to two years, fined or caned.
