A girl recently shared her experience with her boyfriend who she recently dumped after she found out that her boyfriend installed a tracking app on her phone.

I realised recently that my boyfriend actually installed a tracking app on my phone. This meant that he had access to my location and he could also see all my messages that are on my phone.
I found the app hidden in one of my folders and the app was disguised as a game. It was rather weird as the times I was with him, he would know exactly where I was whether I was having drinks with my friends or if I was in the office.
There were times when I went out with my colleagues for drinks and I told him that I was home sleeping and somehow he knew that I was lying. This happened for around a month and I realised that my battery was getting drained really fast. No matter what I do to close the background apps, my phone still dies in half a day if I do not charge it.
I then went to a mobile shop as I wanted to change the battery, but the shop was nice enough to do a check for me. That was when I got that shocking news. The boss of the shop then told me about this tracking app and that the person who had access to this app could track your location in realtime and he had access to all the call logs and messages as well.
Well, everyone should know what happened in the end. I called him up and dumped his a*s. He tried to apologize and said that he wasn’t secure which led him to install the app on my phone. I wasn’t going to listen to any of his crap so all the best to this idiot for invading my privacy.
