Report from the victim allegedly being rob at that point of time told the police that he was being robbed of about $200 in cash and a cellphone along Bedok North Avenue 1 on 19 January 2021.
After some investigations by the police using the surrounding CCTV and asking for witnesses, the police team found out the identity of the culprit and arrested him within 2 hours from the time of the report.
According to the police, ” Under Section 394 of the Penal Code, the offence carries an imprisonment term of not less than five years and not more than 20 years and caning with not less than 12 strokes.”
