EMPLOYMENT PASS HOLDER JAILED 16 WEEKS FOR POSSESSION OF CANNABIS

Wednesday 27 January 2021, a Singapore Employment Pass holder Canadian man was caught with the possession of a vape pen containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) with is the content of cannabis in Singapore Changi Airport.

In 2019, during his return to Singapore, he was caught with a cannabis vape pen in his luggage bag inside a deodorant bottle knowing it was illegal in Singapore. Which contains at least 0.35g of liquid substances involving THC.

He admitted to one charge of possessing Class A controlled drug and another case of drug utensil in his possession pending.
