A 24-year-old Navy regular was sentenced to 6 months of jail after he was found guilty of taking obscene videos of JC girls. It was reported that the man has a fetish for girls in school uniform and he had gone around Singapore to filmed the upskirt of girls in school uniform.
It was said that he has taken more than 100 videos and 101 victims were involved. The man chooses his victims based on their looks. If he finds them attractive, he would stand close to them and filmed their upskirt.
The man was arrested on 25 Oct 2019 by one of his victims claiming that he has been stalking her for a total of 9 days conservatively. The man later admitted his wrongdoing and more videos were recovered from his mobile phone and computer.
According to the law, for insulting the modesty of a woman, the man could be jailed up to one year, fined or both.
