A video surfaced online showing a dark coloured community cat playing with another dark and white coloured cat by the side of the road, chasing birds, when a Toyota Prius ran over the cat.

After being hit by the car, the cat ran back to the pavement, writhing in pain before falling, as the other cat stood beside it, looking on at its injured friend.
The poster of the video revealed that the cat eventually succumbed to its injuries and died.
