
Recently, there is a conflict between ByteDance and Tencent. According to the news, Tencent has prevented users from sending Douyin related items on its app (WeChat and QQ), which should not be this case by anti-monopoly law.

Douyin has filed a lawsuit for the rights of themself and their users at a court in Beijing demanding 90 million yuan which is S$13.94 million as compensation for their monopolistic actions.
This is not the first time that they have conflicts with each other. In 2018, ByteDance has also sued Tencent for similar cases.
Tencent has also filed a lawsuit back at them for defamation about the same period.
