A netizen shared how she received a package of a single, unwrapped face mask that was sent from Lazada.
She wrote that she was extremely concerned about the parcel and was in shock when she received the package, what with the current pandemic situation and her having elderly living with her.
She wondered if this was a prank or otherwise and highlighted that she has notified Lazada as well as the police.
“I received a package on 7 Feb 2021 ( Saturday), it was a ninja van package by a seller from Lazada. The package contained a piece of face mask (seems to be new but not sure if it’s used) from the address in the photo attached. However, the address seems to be fake or spam account and so does the Lazada store ‘lovelovestore’. I am extremely concern and am in shock when I receive this package, with the pandemic going on, I do not think anyone should be doing this as a prank or otherwise. With the elderly staying together with me, this disturbed me even more. I hope you can publish this incident and let other fellow Singaporeans be aware of this, to throw this package when received and I hope the netizens and authority can assist to find out who send this package, and if it’s a prank to get the sender to stop doing this to others. P.S I’ve notified Lazada to do a check on the sender and am still pending further investigation, the police have told me to lodge a report and I’ll do so after more information from Lazada. Please help to spread the word. The Lazada’s page is as shown with the return address … “
