COVID-19 REINFECTION HAPPENED TO BANGLADESHI WORKER IN SG

During last weekend, a Bangladeshi migrant worker was tested positive for COVID-19. This was the second time he was tested positive for COVID-19.

He is a 28 years-old permit holder living in a dormitory at 43 Tech Park Crescent. He first caught COVID-19 on 12 April 2021 and has recovered from the virus and tested negative since then.

He was tested positive again on 25 January 2021 after a routine test was conducted.

MOM also said that the samples they took from the man were slightly different from the pandemic outbreak in dormitories last year. It might be a different and new type of pandemic.
