This incident happened when a group of CNB officers in plain clothes went to catch two suspects for drug offenses. One of the suspects tried to drive off in a car before jumping out from the window pushing an officer, which caused him to fall and fracture his hip.

It was in May last year where the CNB officers were observing a black Mitsubishi Lancer for suspected drug offenses. this was located at Block 677A Woodlands Ring Road at about 1.50 pm. The officers went forward to approach them but the suspects ran to their vehicle and tried to drive off.

But their vehicle was blocked by the officers. The Suspect could not escape through the vehicle and decided to use a helmet to push the officer. After pushing the officer, he jumped out from the window using the helmet to push the officer, resulting in him and the officer falling from the ledge for about 1 meter. When the officer landed on the ground, he felt a sharp pain in his thigh.

The suspect was then arrested by the other officers and was sent to drug rehabilitation for a year after he was tested positive for drugs.
