Four men, aged between 17 and 20, were arrested by the police for their suspected involvement in an assault against another man.
Two of the four men, both 18-years-old, will be charged in court, whereas investigations against the other two are still ongoing.
The male victim was slashed by a few “unknown men” on 16 February at Simei, and the police received a report about that incident at 1.15pm.
The victim allegedly had a dispute with one of the suspects and was thusly slashed.
Another 18 year-old man is suspected to have passed the knife to the assailant, and he allegedly joined the former in kicking and punching the victim, along with 2 other suspects aged 17 and 20.
The suspects were swiftly arrested within 24 hours after officers from Bedok Police Division established their identities through CCTV images.
The two 18-year-olds will be charged in court today under voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon with common intention as well as for carrying offensive weapons in public places.
