A woman recently passed away after a tree suddenly fell on her during the morning exercise in Marsiling Park.

The Civil Defense Forces stated that they were notified at 8:15 this morning (February 18) and when they arrived at Woodlands Central Road, they found someone trapped under a fallen tree.
Civil defense personnel sawed the big tree with a cutting tool and rescued the trapped people. The trapped person was pronounced dead on the spot.
It was believed that a woman was trapped under the tree. Before the incident, she was running in Marsiling Park and was held down by the fallen tree when fell onto her lower body.
The crime scene is currently cordoned off and the police are currently conducting investigations.
