Earlier today (25 February), train services between Bugis and Aljunied were disrupted due to an “incident”.

A person allegedly intruded into the tunnel from a portal area at Lavender and was killed on the MRT tracks, inside the tunnel.
SCDF personnel were seen walking onto the tracks towards a train that was halted between Kallang and Lavender MRT.
Police officers were also seen at the Kallang MRT station platform as well as the SCDF personnel.
Police cars as well as an ambulance were seen parked outside Kallang MRT as the station got shuttered down and closed off from public access.
