The deceased found on the MRT tracks of Kallang MRT station on Thursday (Feb 25) was a 31-year-old man. The police are currently investigating the unnatural death.

The man was run over by a train and he was found dead after the train captain reported hitting something near Kallang MRT station at around 9pm.
A motionless man was found by the station manager 150m from the Kallang MRT station. The SCDF paramedic pronounced the man dead at the scene.
SMRT deployed more than 80 staff members to help commuters affected by the train service disruption.
Services resumed at about 4.50am on Friday morning.
