
A middle-aged man was arrested after he was seen running crazily with a knife in his hand. He was emotional when he was arrested. The police also found the knife near the scene of the crime, which is believed to be the weapon that the middle-aged man abandoned earlier.
He was suspected of arguing with someone in a back alley, and the middle-aged man then took out a knife, before running to a nearby coffeeshop and shouted at the top of his voice.

Some members of the public witnessed him holding the knife and before alerting the police. The man quickly threw the knife away when he knew something was wrong wrong, but the police found the knife and arrested him.
The incident occurred at around 12 noon on Saturday (7th March) at Geylang Lorong 20. Several police cars were seen at the scene. A middle-aged man in a grey T-shirt and another man wearing a white T-shirt were seen being surrounded by police for questioning.
