According to the court, Mr De Beers Wong Tian Jun pretended that he was an agent for wealthy sugar daddies and cheated 11 women to perform sex acts on him under the pretence of “testing the goods”.
The 39-year-old pleaded guilty earlier today for
- cheating
- criminal intimidation
- possession of obscene photos for circulation
- and 26 charges

In court, Wong said that he could not afford paid sex and therefore came up with this scheme to cheat social escorts into performing sex acts on him to “test their quality”. He did this by advertising on Locanto and told the victims that they would have to send one nude photo before he can introduce “wealthy clients” to them.
The victims were between the age of 18 to 24. The victims were promised between S$10,000 to S$20,000 earnings a month from his list of sugar daddy clients.
“Testing the goods”
Those who had let him “test the goods” would be promised higher payout with bigger clients and those who did not let him have his way with them would not be receiving a salary of that amount.
The greed trap managed to trick many and Wong even met up with a few of them to take obscene photos of the victims. One of the victims who is 24-years-old claims that she has anxiety attacks and nightmare after the incident.
