Facebook user Anthony Pang recently posted a video on the Facebook page Complaint Singapore which shows several birds eating raw meat at a zhi char stall in Ang Mo Kio.
Here is the full story:
“This ze char stall put the meat outside the kitchen. Totally expose to the dogs and birds. Birds are eating happily away. Leaving the leftovers for the diner. Can’t imagine eating these meat. Disgusting. This big coffee shop is opposite Pathlight school across AMK Ave 1 at the junction of AMK industrial Park.
Update :The restaurant msg me to clarify that this is due to a new driver whom did not practise the proper delivery process. They shared that similar incident happened years ago and they have since make sure that the supplier and their delivery driver handle the food with care. Also they clarify that the staff informed the mgmt when they came in to work and saw the food outside. The restaurant did not use that batch of meat. The delivery restaurant has also apologize and gave the restaurant a credit note.I do believe that this is the truth. As such I am going to remove this post cos I don’t want to damage their reputation unnecessarily.”
