
Janil Puthucheary, the Senior Minister of State for Health, said in parliament that Singaporeans below the age of 45 can book their slots for the Covid-19 vaccination programme from June onwards.
As of 3 April, around 1.05 million people in Singapore have receaved at least one dose of the vaccine.
Aroudn 468,000 of the 1.05 million people have received their second dose and completed the full vaccination.
He added that the number of vaccination centres have been expanded to 31, with a further 9 more to be opened by mid-April which means there will be a total of 40 vaccination centres islandwide.
Puthucheary also added that Singapore’s supply of vaccines remains limited because of the ability of of the vaccine manufacturers to deliver them due to the overwhelming global demands.
