
The wreckage of the Indonesian submarine, KRI Nanggala 402, which has been missing since 21 April has been found.

The wreckage of the vessel was found on the sea floor off of Bali Island, with all 53 crew-members on board dead.
The submarine was conducting a torpedo drill on 21 April in Northern Bali when all contact with the vessel was lost at around 4.30am.
Indonesia sought assistance in the search for the submarine, including Singapore and Australia.
The Singapore Navy deployed the MV Swift Rescue on the same day in the afternoon, accompanied by a medical team.

This incident is the first major submarine disaster for Indonesia.
