13 PEOPLE AT UBI OFFICE INVESTIGATED FOR VIOLATING COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

On May 1, the Singapore Police Force raided an office unit along Ubi Road 2 and found thirteen people aged between 21 and 33 mingling and consuming various drinks including alcohol.

According to the police, they violated COVID-19 safe distancing measures whereby only a maximum of eight people are allowed per social gathering. Karaoke equipment was also seized by the police during the raid

A 31-year-old man, allegedly to be the operator of the unit is also under investigation for providing alcohol without a licence.
