A customer was not happy that he couldn’t order $2 worth of serving of chicken at a chicken rice stall (Hong Shi Chicken Rice), due to the stall having a minimum order of $3.
Apparently, the customer had ordered $8 worth of chicken rice earlier, and he was tucking into his food.
15 minutes later, he returned and wanted to order $2 worth of chicken, but was told that the stall had a minimum order of $3.
The staff couldn’t sell it to him, and said that if he had asked for the extra $2 extra serving of chicken when he bought the earlier $8 meal, it would have been fine.
The staff then continue to prepare the $3 serving of chicken and placed it on the serving area, to which the customer remarked that if he can’t finish it, the staff would have to eat it.
The staff then said he is not an animal and doesn’t eat leftovers.
The customer then allegedly hurled vulgarities at the staff and scolded his mother, before throwing the plate of chicken at him.
A police report has since been lodged.
