In the wake of Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal urging India’s government to ban all flights with Singapore because of the “Singapore variant” of the Covid-19 virus (which has since been debunked as originating from India), Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs has taken to Twitter to respond to Kejriwal.

Balakrishnan quoted Kejriwal’s tweet and said:
“Politicians should stick to facts! There is no ‘Singapore variant'”

The Ministry of Health has also fired back at Kejriwal’s claims in a press release themselves.
