On Wednesday(July 14) a dispute occurred between two-man led to a bloody end after a 43-year-old man allegedly stabbed a 46-year-old man.
According to the police media release, they were alerted to the stabbing case at a residential unit along Sumang Walk in Punggol at about 3 PM.
Lianhe Zaobao’s reporters were on the scene and a live video was recorded of appears to be a body being carried onto a vehicle.
According to Lianhe ZaoBao, the incident happened at Block 326A Sumang Walk.
Reporters from Lianhe ZaoBao understand from a resident who was staying in the same block saying she heard a dispute at about 2 PM and assumed it was a normal quarrel.
By the time the Police arrived, they found the 46-year-old lying motionless outside of the unit.
The Police said that preliminary investigations revealed that both the victim and the alleged murderer knew it other.
The 43-year-old man will be charged with murder under Section 302(1) of the Penal Code in court tomorrow (July 16). If he is convicted of murder he might face the death penalty.
Police investigations are ongoing.
