A glimmer surge happened today at Upper Thomson Road taking after substantial rain this evening.

The Land Transport Authority affirmed that no vehicle movement was possible due to jam till MacRitchie Viaduct. The whole extend of street had turned out to be so obstructed, a few cars were even caught in the surge with no where to go in spite of the rising water level.
