
According to a letter sent to parents or guardians of Raffles Institution, a stall assistant working in Year 1-4 school canteen has been tested positive for Covid-19 on 17 July 2021. The stall assistant was last in school on Friday 16 July.

We would like to inform you that a stall assistant in our Year 1-4 school canteen has tested positive for COVID-19 on 17 July 2021 (Saturday). The stall assistant was last in school on Friday 16 July and was well when she was present in the school canteen.
Preliminary information obtained from the stall assistant is that. apart from collecting payment for meats from students and staff, which typically took a few seconds, the stall assistant had minimal contact with them.
The school will be conducting contact tracing to identify students and staff who were in close contact with the stall assistant during the infectious period. As part of the enhanced contact tracing efforts, close contacts will be identified both through the contact tracing conducted by the school and the information gathered through TraceTogether Tokens/Apps. Staff and students who are close contacts will be placed on Leave of Absence (LOA) and will thereafter be contacted by MOH on the public health actions required.
