MOH: “UNVACCINATED PERSONS AND ELDERLY SHOULD STAY HOME IF POSSIBLE FOR NOW”

MOH announced in a press release that further precautionary measures will be implemented to protect the more vulnerable elderly people in Singapore from the coronavirus.

Unvaccinated individuals are also urged to get fully vaccinated to reduce their risks of infection and serious illness.

MOH urged those who are unvaccinated, or are vaccinated but have elderly people at home; to avoid crowded places or have too much social interactions; or try to stay home as much as possible for the time being.

The unvaccinated elderly especially, are urged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

MOH revealed that there are 6 cases at the moment suffering serious illness and that all 6 were not fully vaccinated, with one of them in the ICU.
