A student from Republic Poly was sentenced to probation for filming multiple women at Jurong Medical Centre.
He was working at Jurong Medical Centre during his internship.
21-year-old Gerald Che Hong Yao was sentenced to two years of probation he also has to stay at home from 11 PM to 6 AM and do 60 hours of community service. His parents had to pay a bond of SGD$5,000 to ensure his good behaviour.
How he got caught
After he was send Jurong Medical Centre to start his internship he was suppose to work as an IT support staff, however instead of working he spend time lotering outside female toilets.
When a woman goes in he would follow and use the cubicle beside the woman to film them, he would raise his phone above the cubicle and film woman peeing or taking a dump.
He was caught in Jan 2021 after a woman spotted a phone above her, Che tried to run away. But the woman called the Police.
He committed such acts for at least 9 occasions including MRT, bus and shopping malls and even in school.
