Following a netizen who posted a video sharing about how Safe Distancing Ambassadors allegedly checking his house for a “party” without a warrant, the URA posted a disclaimer that SDA officers were allowed to conduct searches without a warrant.
The netizen, @nickmikhailrazak, shared updates on his Instagram story refuting their claims.
He said that Channel News Asia was one sided and that they didn’t interview him before publishing his story to get the facts.
He then refuted URA’s claims that the lights in his house were “turned on”, showing a screenshot of his CCTV footage and highlighting that if the lights were turned on, the video wouldn’t be black and white.
He also pointed out in his CCTV footage that there was only one car outside and not two cars as alleged.
He then highlighted the point that a male officer followed his wife into the room while the others were outside.
