
Recently, a girl shared on Facebook about her ordeal with the Foodpanda Help Center.
The girl had initially ordered a packet of rice with a set of dried chilli live frog, but the restaurant called her to say that they have ran out of frogs for her frog porridge.
The restaurant told the girl that they are unable to offer any refund but can do a small portion for her.
However, the smaller portion won’t be enough for her to share with her family, so she decided to ask Foodpanda to help her to cancel the order.
Foodpanda however, does not seem to be listening to the girl as seen in the conversation. They seem to only be interested in brushing the girl off and closing the case.
They told the girl that since something (the rice) is being delivered, they cannot cancel the order and the girl still has to pay for the rice.
The Customer service agent even told the girl that “we all have bad days” and “hope you are understanding this”
