64 Y.O WOMAN DIED ON SAME DAY AS FIRST DOSE OF VACCINE, MOH RESPONDS

A 64-year-old woman passed away on the same day after getting her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, and her daughter took to Facebook to share the alleged discrepancies surrounding her death.

She highlighted that her late mother has been leading an active life and apart from having controlled hypertension and mild diabetes, she is mostly healthy.

She asked what could have happened during the vaccination that “robbed her of her life?”

She further questioned: “Was it just pure coincidence that she has to return to Jesus on the day where she received her first dose of vaccination?”

The 64-year-old woman allegedly collapsed 8 hours after taking the vaccine sometime in July.

Her daughter revealed that she used to be an advocate for the vaccination and even helped to debunk rumours that the vaccine was not safe.

MOH responds

According to Mothership, MOH said that they were made aware of her death by Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

They revealed that she was assessed to be suitable for the jab, and received her Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine on that very day.

She was observed to be well during the 30-minutes post vaccination observation.

MOH added that her certified cause of death is hypertensive heart disease and coronary artery disease, according to findings from the autopsy; which is consistent with the woman’s medical history.

They said that about a thousand strokes and heart attacks are seen in public hospitals monthly, and that coincidental strokes and heart attacks are bound to occur because of the country’s vaccination in huge numbers.

MOH reiterated their desire to help the family through the healthcare system.
