A F&B establishment, Darts Buddy at 28 Beatty Road, was caught by authorities for allegedly selling alcohol on the premises after 10.30pm.
They allegedly shuttered their main entrance to hide their activities inside, to avoid being detected by law enforcement officers.
Darts Buddy was charged in court earlier today (13 August) under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) Act.
Our sources told us that the bar would allow patrons to enter via a secret backdoor which is often locked, and patrons will only be allowed to leave when a phone call is made to make sure the coast is clear.
However, they were detected by Safe Distancing Enforcement officers who noticed people entering and exiting the bistro via the back door right before an inspection at 10.40pm.
The incident happened on 29 January, earlier this year.
