Chow has officially denied rumours he is dating a 17-year-old Miss Hong Kong contestant after the two were seen on a cruise together.
Previously, some Hong Kong media called the relationship between Chow and Miss Hong Kong 2021 contestant Ukei Cheung a “grandfather and granddaughter” relationship because of their 42-year age gap. Ukei participated in this year’s Miss Hong Kong pageant and was the youngest among all the participants. However, Ukie was eliminated at the competition.
The cause of the suspicion of affection for Ukei was after a reporter from Hong Kong’s Headline Daily discovered that Chow was on a yacht “worth more than 100 million Hong Kong dollars” with Ukei and two other young women. They set sail and play water sports for a few hours before having a party on the boat and returning to shore around 10pm. The next day, Chow and Ukei reappeared at the pier to set sail for another date.

The Hong Kong King of Comedy is said to have approached Ukei first to strike up a conversation and ask for her number, and the two began dating in secret. For example, Chow will only use WeChat to call her and will never leave a record of their conversations.
