
Beware all buyers!! Be careful when you buy furniture online!!
Seller claim they have own factory and have a big team, but in fact is from ezbuy or taobao or china.
Previously my friend buy a furniture online and never received the piece she ordered.
When issue happen, seller disappear. My friend got transfer from one department to another department (ON a SAME single user account, quinn.furniture).
My friend also found out that this seller has at least 2 accounts on Carousell selling similar furniture.
This seller 2 accounts are :
1) quinn.furniture and
2) dearie.co
Is this also possible?
Carousell only allow 1 person 1 account. And I also know 2 accounts is SAME payment mode.
When she ask on several occasions for return/exchange/refund, the seller refused and reply:
“This is carousell, I’m the seller and I can settle how I want.”
Today I saw that the seller account(s) have been suspended.
Be careful all buyers. If you do have any outstanding issues or order usually experienced by most buyers, please be careful with this particular seller(s)
My friend have been suffering by this incident for nearly 4 months and I helping her to share the painful incident.
The incident from my friend:
. Bought a sofa from carousell. Before purchase, I confirm the specs and confirm there are 6 month warranty. I made full payment to a seller called “Rachel”.
.When issue occurs, “ADI” appear, and now there a Purchase Team, Post Purchase Team, Manufacuring Team, Delivery Team and Logistics Team suddenly. I then request to speak to “Rachel”. Each transferred me using few days for weeks. And these people did not convey my message of speaking to Rachel, came and questioned me this and that. All unrelated questions. When I ask how are they able to help me in their department (since there are so many they claimed in 1 single user account), each of then can replied,
“I did not know you prefer me not speaking to u”
And another department, another person, whole cycle repeated.
This went repeated for weeks.
. Seller then edited his photo this period to include (terms and conditions) that not the item in picture will be delivered. There will be specs diff and etc etc.
. Seller later claim that I harrass his customers for finding out the “truth” about promotion period which different people gets different FREE gifts and maybe price differently.
. Seller even came up to me and warn me,
“DONT EXPECT THAT YOU WILL GET AWAY SCOT FREE” if you tell anyone.
. Seller also say “TOO BAD. THIS IS CAROUSELL, I’m the seller I CAN SETTLE HOW I WANT”
. Seller then after few emails to carousell, arrogantly claim he can do exchange but “ONLY IF I LOVELY”
. Seller told me to do these:
-change the negative feedback to 5 stars,
-made a statement that I have harassed him,
-apologise to seller and discuss more terms if I feel ready.
MAYBE by then, he will consider refund. But this is under 6 months warranty issue, why is it so difficult?
I am very scare. I do not know what more seller wants and I also know couples of buyers who encountered same emotions threat by Seller and have changed their negative feedback to 5 stars for this seller.
. Seller then claim he can do refund ALSO. But need to deduct harassment, reputation damages etc. I request for proof of harassment and damages but none were provided to me.
. But Seller DONT WANT TO LET ME OFF AT ALL. Seller leave a negative review for me also. (HOW CAN CAROUSELL LET PEOPLE LEAVE FEEDBACK AFTER ANOTHER LEFT so seller can take revenge and it’s not Fair to good buyers who waited, transferred and received the wrong item delivered)
. MY sofa is also DIRTY when received.
. subsequently, seller edited feedback at least 3 times (each time longer and longer till 3 pages and after that, seller will told me have I consider to Change my feedback to him as seller wants me to feel even worst as a buyer and he have spoken the untruth)
. Seller continue to lie to carousell and either item is settled or refund is made, however he is lying again. Seller is accusing me of lying to carousell
. Seller really like he said, he can do what he want on carousell. He knows the system too well.
. Seller know that there really nothing buyer can do on carousell, but seller got our house address and unit number
Seller can keep playing and making me very unsettled
By the way, seller have 2 account quinn.furniture and dearie.co.
