WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY, BREAK CB RULES TO MEET BF TO “EXERCISE”

22-year-old May Moe Kyi is pleaded guilty after she was charged with leaving her home to meet her boyfriend during a circuit breaker.

May is a SG Permanent resident from Myanmar, she repeatedly leaves her house to meet her boyfriend so that they could “exercise”

Back then during circuit breaker, no one was allowed to leave their homes unless for essential purposes and of course her boyfriend who stays at a different residential address from her is not allowed either.

In court, it was stated that May left her house in Choa Chu Kang to meet her boyfriend at Bukit Batok at least 10 times to exercise.

She can be jailed for up to 6 months and/or fined a maximum of SGD$10,000 for each charge.
