
Any of you been to Dunman Food Center lately? Today is first day of ` clear your table or else ” at hawker centers. DFC there’s only one tray reform station situated at the front.
I thought there will be sufficient stations as stated by the authorities so as not to inconvenience patrons. A bigger problem I have here is that there is a cleaner supervisor who acts like a tyrant. He shouts at patrons and acts like he is the tai kor in the hawker center, but in reality he’s the janitor.
Does he have the right to tell people off especially with such an aggressive tone? Don’t they have Sgclean ambassadors and enforcement to do that job? I believe he’s just trying to reduce his own workload so he can sit in the corner and smoke.
Why is smoking allowed in a hawker center in the first place? He makes the environment really toxic and turns customers off. I think NEA needs to reign him in.
