A one-week grace period will be implemented on 13 October to 19 October for shopping malls to familiarize themselves with the differentiated safe management measures that will be implemented.
Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said in a statement released earlier today that they are aware of concerns being raised on the need for unvaccinated people to access medical/childcare services in malls.
MTI and ESG said:
“”We would like to assure members of the public that MTI and ESG are working closely with mall operators to allow tenants, mall operators, and the public to familiarise themselves with the new processes and checks.”
The Multi Ministry Taskforce (MTF) said in a statement on Saturday that unvaccinated persons will no longer be allowed to enter shopping malls and dine in at hawker centres and F&B outlets, as well as retail shops.
