The SCDF said that a dead body of a man was found floating in the waters of Rochor River near the ICA building.

The incident happened on 10 October, with the SCDF received a call for water rescue assistance at around 7.10am.
SCDF personnel then retrieved the dead body from the water and the person was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Lianhe Wanbao, the deceased was a man in his 60s who was purportedly a cardboard collector who was often seen around the vicinity collecting cardboard.
He was suspected to have drowned to his death.
